1ST EXPEDITION OF PEASANT FAMILY FARMING

The 1st Expedition of Family Farming took place in the Quinta da Serra settlement, located in the municipality of Viçosa-AL. The objective of the expedition was to implement practices and technologies consolidated at the university and partner institutions, aiming to improve the production and quality of life of farmers and to increase the dissemination of the importance of family farming. The activities lasted approximately 1.5 years and involved several partners. Among the results are the recovery of springs, stocking of dams, implementation of agroforestry systems and holding of the Family Farming Fair.
