The Engenho de Artes explores various artistic possibilities in the visual field, fostering a critical perspective on students' education and their environment. The project continues previous visual arts initiatives at the Sertão Campus, such as O Touro e a Sucuri and Protagonistas de Si. Building on these experiences, it aims to expand artistic development through exhibitions, installations, and audiovisual productions by the academic community. The proposal is to create an artistic production space that integrates different fields of knowledge. To achieve this, practical workshops will be conducted with guest professors and artists, addressing topics related to the local context. These workshops, organized into modules open to the academic community, will showcase their outcomes at the Sertão Campus, the Santana do Ipanema Academic Unit, and cultural venues in the city, promoting a comprehensive and critical learning experience for participants.
