This article aims to report the action “You and CITox - Ufal on the “Drug Trail”: playing and building knowledge for health care”, carried out during the Extension and Culture Week - SEMAEXC, 2024, whose objective was to promote the learning experience about psychoactive substances with high school students, through the educational game “Drug Trail”, to carry out a health education action, with an emphasis on harm reduction and mental health promotion, about the risks associated with the use of legal and illegal psychoactive substances, in addition to explaining the means of treatment for people with drug addiction, offered by the Unified Health System (SUS). This is an experience report with a qualitative and descriptive approach about the implementation of a workshop carried out through expository-dialogued and interactive dynamics, promoted from a pedagogical game with high school students from the Escola Estadual Onélia Campelo. The experience highlighted the importance of continuing educational actions with this approach, considering that the dissemination of strategic health information and, specifically, the popularization of scientific information about the use of psychoactive substances, their risks and toxicological damages can directly contribute to the making of more conscious and safe decisions by adolescents, in addition to motivating them to become multipliers of this information. Playing “Drug Trail” with the CITox – Ufal team was an experience of knowledge exchange and practical, creative and interactive learning. The accessible and enlightening dialogue between high school students and extension workers from the UFAL Pharmacy course, through the CITox pedagogical proposal, enabled the dissemination of strategic health information, in a playful, dynamic way and based on scientific evidence.
