Peter Mclaren is a Canadian teacher who has worked in Canada and the United States. She has developed her own perspective on critical pedagogies and is recognized today as one of the main figures of alternative theory in education. He met and worked with Paulo Freire, about whom he wrote a book. He is today considered one of the most important representatives of critical pedagogy worldwide.
